Eldridge Shively, known as “Uncle Dit” served as a medic in the Korean War, where he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. After retiring from his work as a boilermaker, he enjoyed many happy years in his second career as an antique dealer. This rekindled his appreciation for firearms of all kinds. He bought from estates all over the eastern half of the country, and the last question he asked as he walked out the door was always the same – “Do you have any old guns you’d like to sell?” Of all the items he collected over the years, his guns and his Corvettes gave him the most joy.

Furrow Auction Company will host an online only auction of handguns, shotguns, rifles, revolvers, pistols, gun safes and accessories from the Estate of Eldridge Shively. BUYER’S PREMIUM: A 20% buyer’s premium will be added to the high bid. Example: For each $1,000 bid, a 20% buyer’s premium of $200 will be added to arrive at the total purchase price of $1,200.

REMOVAL: BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOADING, REMOVAL SHIPPING & TRANSPORATION OF ALL PURCHASED ITEMS. Lots can be removed once payment is received, Thursday, April 25 – Friday, April 26 between 10am-6pm at TN Silencer, 1471 Shiloh Church Rd, Seymour, TN 37865. Antique Black Powder Firearms (noted in catalog), Gun Safes and Gun Accessories are located at Furrow Auction, 10139 Cogdill Rd, Knoxville, TN 37932.

No firearm has been tested or inspected for firing, condition, or functionality, and no representation is made as to the condition or functionality of any firearm. Before use, including firing, it is the successful BIDDER’S responsibility to have firearms inspected to the successful Bidder’s satisfaction, by a gunsmith or other appropriate professional who is knowledgeable about firearms. Successful Bidders agree to hold Furrow Auction Company, as well as the Seller’s, harmless from any claim, injury, malfunction, or liability.
